PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — He uses multiple aliases and dresses in both men’s and women’s clothing, and police in Palm Beach are asking for help finding him.

They’ve named Damian Ricketts the suspect in two smash-and-grab burglaries that occurred last month, both at one high-end store on Worth Avenue.

Ricketts is wanted for breaking into Only Authentics and stealing approximately 17 luxury handbags worth about $1.5 million.

The break-ins happened early in mid-December and again on Christmas morning.

CBS12 News reported the bags that were taken are so unique, they’re only sold to longtime Hermes customers. Each is worth tens of thousands of dollars and they come equipped with their own serial numbers.

In fact, store owner Virgil Rogers said he didn’t want to show his face because he’s worried for his safety.
