Neighbors’ complaints answered: Drug house closed, 7 arrested

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — People living in the Indian River Estates neighborhood of Fort Pierce have gotten their wish.

Their numerous complaints about narcotics to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office have been heard.

Thursday, deputies got a search warrant and raided a home on Pinetree Drive.

Authorities said they arrested seven people and charged them with possession of drugs and/or drug paraphernalia.

The people charged are:

Travis Dillard, charged with larceny-petit theft and possession of drug paraphernalia;

Misty Rowell, charged with possession of MDMA (Ecstasy, Molly) and drug paraphernalia;

Edwin Valentine, charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia;

Katie Barnett, charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing/eluding police, and driving with a suspended or revoked license;

Sean Leary, charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia;

Eric Sapienza, charged with possession of MDMA (Ecstasy, Molly) and drug paraphernalia; and

Arkeem Thomas, charged with possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
