They broke their steady streaks by raising their prices significantly.

On June 1, the Marathon, 7-Eleven and Sunoco had all been charging $4.759.

Since then, the 7-Eleven across Australian Avenue from the Sunoco lowered its price by 3 cents per gallon but Thursday, the Sunoco and Marathon both raised their prices to $4.899.

As of Friday morning, the 7-Eleven hadn’t raised its price and had the best deal by far.

UPDATE: We didn’t think the 7-Eleven would keep its price for regular unleaded 14 cents lower than the competition, including directly across the street.

By Friday afternoon, it had matched the others.
