DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Police were called to a domestic disturbance at the Delray Beach Municipal Cemetery and it wasn’t the first time the suspect was arrested.

On Sunday, Sept. 25, an officer wrote about seeing a man sitting in the trunk of his vehicle and Sadakat Glemeau, who turned 44 since the incident, sitting in the passenger seat.

The arrest report said, “As I approached the rear of the vehicle, I observed several fresh bloody scratch marks on the left side of [the man]’s neck.”

Then, the officer asked what happened and wrote, “[The victim] stated that he was at the rear of his vehicle cleaning the trunk when he found a peanut. Knowing that Glemeau enjoys peanuts, he tossed it at her. She tossed it back.

Glemeau’s nails caused several gouges on the left side of his neck

“After tossing it to her a second time, Glemeau exited the vehicle, walked around and grabbed [the man] by the throat, choking him. As he broke the hold, Glemeau’s nails caused several gouges on the left side of his neck.

Glemeau’s account of the events could not happen

“Glemeau stated that they were sitting in the vehicle with [the man] in the driver’s seat and her in the passenger seat when [the man] attempted to punch her with his left hand. She went on to state that she reacted and grabbed at his neck. From the seating arrangement and the placement of the seats, Glemeau’s account of the events could not happen.”

She was charged with simple battery, booked on March 21 at 11:21 p.m. and released on her own recognizance the next day at 1:07 p.m.

On March 22, she was ordered to have no contact with the victim. That order was rescinded on April 19.

CBS12 News checked her court docket and found the more recent order of no contact has not been rescinded.
