SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (TND) — A man is behind bars for allegedly playing with dynamite in front of a business, and the victim of the explosion was a teddy bear.

San Bernardino police in southern California released surveillance video showing the culprit in a parking lot. He gets out of an SUV and leaves the teddy bear on the ground, two parking spaces away.

Then, he gets back into the vehicle while the bear is blown to pieces. That’s shown from two different angles.

A lot of smoke and cotton was left behind in the parking lot, and the guy drove off.

After that, somebody called 911 and the police got their hands on the video.

They developed leads, got a search warrant, and paid the suspect a visit at his home.

They reported finding illegal aerial fireworks, and metal pipes and saws that are consistent with explosive devices.

They also found a ghost gun, more than 200 rounds of ammunition, more than a kilo of methamphetamine with packaging for sales, a ballistic vest, and a lot of U.S. currency.

The video shows all of that, plus the suspect being brought in for several felonies.

Authorities did not release his name, nor the issue he may have with teddy bears.
