TARZANA, Calif. (TND) — A man is under arrest after his wife’s dismembered torso was found in a dumpster. Now, his in-laws are missing.
The Los Angeles Police Department announced the victim has been identified as 37-year-old Mei Li Haskell. She was discovered early Wednesday morning when someone “looking through dumpster bins found a bag containing a woman’s torso” and called police.
The investigation led detectives to Haskell’s home in Tarzana, where she lived with her husband, children, and in-laws.
Her husband, 35-year-old Samuel Haskell, was arrested and charged with murder. He’s being held in lieu of $2 million bail.

Police said the couple’s three children are being cared for by family members, but Haskell’s in-laws — 64-year-old Yanxiang Wang and 71-year-old Gaoshan Li — have not been found.
Detectives were also looking for two missing SUVs, a white Volkswagen Tiguan and a white Nissan Pathfinder.
