BROOKLYN, N.Y. (TND) — New York police are looking for a woman caught on camera committing a possible hate crime in a Brooklyn park.
The victim posted video on Instagram showing the woman throwing something at him and screaming “get away!”
Please note, there are a few profanities screamed.
It happened last Tuesday, at about 12:30 p.m., at Edmonds Playground in the Fort Greene neighborhood.
”She’s attacking me because I’m wearing a scarf,” he claimed.
Then, she said, “Get the f*** out. Get the f*** out.”
And he answered, “I’m not going to do that.”
Eventually, it gets physical for a few seconds and the victim explains to someone,
”I’m wearing a scarf and I’m getting attacked because apparently I’m a terrorist.”
He referenced his son being with him and wrote the “baby” is 18 months old, along with a few other details.
We do not see the scarf that apparently set off the woman.
Police are hoping someone can identify her.
