MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (TND) — A school bus aide is facing four criminal charges for choking a six-year-old boy.

The boy’s parents called police on the evening of Oct. 16 and said “their son ran off the school bus that afternoon, was visibly upset, and had marks on his neck,” according to the district attorney’s office outside Philadelphia.

“The boy told his parents that the school bus aide had put his hands around his neck and ‘choked’ him.”

Police investigated and found “the assault was captured on the school bus surveillance video and was witnessed by the bus driver, who reported the incident to her supervisors immediately upon her return to the bus yard.”
