BERWICK, Pa. (TND) — Police answering a call about “gunshots being fired” say their suspect was “intoxicated and firing a gun after accusing the caller of sleeping with his wife.”

Briar Creek police in Pennsylvania said they found Thomas Hresko in the driveway in a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle on Monday, New Year’s Day.

They took him into custody and reported he had “glossy and bloodshot eyes, and his speech was slurred.”

They also said “The glove box on the side-by-side vehicle was observed to be open and a .357 caliber revolver was located with the handle sticking out of the glove box.

But when they got there, “Hresko began to accuse the victim of having a relationship with his wife.

“The victim went inside to get Hresko a drink.”

Then, he said, “Hresko fired a gunshot into the air,” along with a second round, and that’s when he called police.
