SPRING HILL, Fla. (TND) — “A friendly relationship” on Snapchat didn’t last and one of the participants is back in jail since he was serving probation when things went south.

This took place in two counties near Tampa, Fla.

A detective learned William Michael Isoldi “coerced the victim into providing her Snapchat account credentials.”

That was a big mistake.

Isoldi was supposed to “log in to her account and change her account Avatar,” but his arrest report said instead, he changed her credentials, “thus locking the victim out of her own account.”

That wasn’t all.

This detective, in Manatee County, said Isoldi “accessed the victim’s ‘my eye’s only,’ which is a password-protected photo vault feature within the Snapchat platform.

“Retained within the victim’s ‘my eye’s only’ was at least one nude photo of the victim that displayed her nude breasts.

“The defendant took these photos and sent them to several of the victim’s friends in an attempt to solicit photos from said friends.”

That detective got information from Snapchat and then Charter Communications, which linked the IP address to Isoldi in Hernando County.

Also, the victim had his phone number.

A Hernando County detective started investigating and learned Isoldi “is a registered sexual offender since 08/19/2021, which stems from the original charges of possession of child pornography.

“Further search revealed that the defendant is currently on felony sex offender probation.”

The two detectives from different counties co-authored a search warrant request

and the arrest report said Isoldi “admitted” what he did, and “that he also took over at least two other accounts for the same purpose.”

Isoldi had several cell phones and a detective asked him about an email address on one

and Isoldi said “it belonged to a girlfriend; however, he was utilizing it to create social media accounts in an effort to hide his identity, due to his sex offender status restricting him from having social media accounts.”

Then, it was determined he “failed to register the aforementioned email address,” which was another violation.

On top of that, Isoldi had “a prior conviction for aggravated stalking on 01/27/2022, in which he displayed the same predatory behavior as in this case.”

Isoldi was arrested and charged with sexual cyberstalking, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and failure to comply with sex offender reporting requirements.

The 24-year-old was denied bond “due to his sex offender status,” and he has been in jail since the morning of Dec. 13.

As for the 2021 child pornography case, Isoldi faced four counts. He was adjudicated guilty without a trial on two, and the two others were not prosecuted.

That case has now been reopened.
