LOS ANGELES (TND) — Not one, or two, but three hit-and-run drivers are responsible for killing a man Los Angeles police described as being in his late 20s or early 30s.

Wednesday, they released video in an effort to catch the drivers.

They say it happened late Friday night in the Pacoima neighborhood, on San Fernando Road south of Montague Street.

First, a light-colored pickup truck heading northbound on the southbound side hit the pedestrian who was trying to cross the street in the middle of the block.

He fell to the ground and tried to get up when a light-colored full-size SUV also going northbound hit him.

This time, the victim was thrown onto the southbound side, where a dark-colored mid-size SUV ran over him.

None of the drivers stopped, helped, or stayed there.

Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

His name won’t be released until he’s identified, and family can be notified.
