OCALA, Fla. (TND) — A woman accused of trying to steal two packs of NBA trading cards, a phone charger cord, portable charger, and purse ended up in a lot more trouble for what authorities said was already in her purse.

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy in Florida wrote about the store’s loss prevention manager saying he watched Tamara Mae Benbourenane “try to hide merchandise while she was shopping and eventually walk past all points of sale.”

Her arrest report said she “confessed to attempting to steal [those] items that were still in her possession,” which Walmart said were worth $185.45.

Then, the deputy said she “admitted to being in the possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and the straw she uses for the substance.”

Authorities searched her purse and said it contained “two small folded up pieces of foil, one blue straw, and two small clear baggies.
