WILDWOOD, Fla. (TND) — A woman called police and said her son had spit in her face, and that he did it to another family member as well. Authorities mentioned alcohol and narcotics in his arrest report, and not just with him.

A patrolman got to the family’s apartment in Florida last Tuesday evening, March 19, and wrote that Sebastian Gill Dupuis’ mother said, “The defendant had been using narcotics for days and has been acting out of control.”

There was also a situation involving a baby.

The mother reported, “The defendant had also grabbed his one-year-old nephew by the shoulders after he stepped on his blanket.

“[The mother] advised that the defendant did not hurt the one-year-old nephew, just grabbed him out of frustration.”

As for that other family member, that person “confirmed that the defendant did spit on his face.

“It should be noted that Victim 2 was extremely intoxicated and unable to cooperate any further.”

There was also a witness who said she saw Dupuis spit on both his mother and another person’s faces. The witnesses also said Dupuis pushed the mother of the one-year-old.

Unfortunately for the investigation, the arrest report said, “[The baby’s mother] left the apartment prior to law enforcement arrival due to having multiple warrants.”

Another officer later spoke to her by phone and said she “denied being present and also denied returning to the scene; therefore, she was not listed as a victim.”

Finally, the patrolman spoke to Dupuis and wrote he “denied having battered anyone.” He said his mother had battered him first.

There wasn’t much else.

“The defendant was not very cooperative,” the patrolman wrote, “and refused to answer most of the questions directed at him.

“It should be noted that the defendant was extremely intoxicated.”

Dupuis, 23, was charged with two counts of battery and arrested and taken to jail without any further incident.

He’s also charged with a probation violation and has not been released from jail.
