LADY LAKE, Fla. – An older woman who may have thought she was protecting a former president is facing some serious charges unrelated to that former president.

“Numerous people called police,” her arrest report said, “reporting that there was a short blonde woman causing a disturbance around the town square, screaming that someone was trying to kill her.”

One of the four responding officers continued, writing, “She was yelling, crying and being very loud, screaming that someone was trying to kill Trump.”

That’s what was reported at a bar outside a restaurant in central Florida, on the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Donald Trump was shot in the ear during an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania back on July 13. Then, this past Sunday, Sept. 15, a man was arrested after allegedly hiding with a rifle at Trump’s southern Florida golf club.

The officer added, Jamie Lynn Bryan “appeared to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

“She then began to yell and scream at officers on scene, becoming more and more disruptive, argumentative, and acting out of control.

“We attempted to assist her in getting home and she declined these efforts.

“She eventually walked away, saying she had a place to go, and stopped screaming and yelling.”

That lasted about 25 minutes.

Bryan’s arrest report said another officer “could hear the defendant screaming and yelling from a ways off … screaming, yelling, and arguing with patrons outside” another restaurant.

“One witness stated that the defendant was yelling, cursing at patrons that they were trying to kill ex-president Trump and her as well.

“At one point, it was also stated that the defendant then took her cell phone and threw it towards the bar where the patrons were, but it did not hit anyone.”

A second officer arrived and was given her cell phone. Then, he tried to arrest her.

“At this point,” Bryan’s arrest report said, “she got extremely belligerent and began cursing at officers, not cooperating, acting completely out of control and passively resisted by making herself limp and refusing to stand up and laying on the ground.

“Then, at one point while on the ground, she spun herself around, scooted towards [a corporal] and kicked him in the shin, not causing any injury.”

But officers wrote, “She continued to scream, yell, cursing very loudly at officers, making rude remarks and causing a disturbance.

“Attempts to get her to stand up and get in the cruiser [sic] she passively resisted by staying on the ground, refusing to stand up, and she eventually had to be picked up by officers and placed in the back of my cruiser,” the arrest report said, “which she still initially resisted in sitting in the seat.

“Once in the back seat and on the way to the jail, for almost the entire trip, the defendant continued to scream, yell, curse, and berate me.

“Once at the jail, the defendant then started to scream, yell, curse, and break jail staff as well, refusing to cooperate with them.”

Bryan turned 67 since the incident. Authorities described her as just 5’3″ tall and weighing 100 lbs.

She was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly intoxication, and resisting without violence.

Bryan’s bond was set at $7,000 and she was released after almost 11 hours in jail.
